Artist and floral designer, Nancy Jo Graham, splits her time between teaching, colored pencil drawing, and high-end floral design. Shown here are some of her recent floral pieces.
"I love working with live flowers and plant materials. It is as if I am creating miniature sculptures. Because my colored pencil work is largely 2-dimensional, working 3-dimensionally with flowers has helped me to see things differently as an artist. I also enjoy the transient nature of floral design. I am quickly creating something and passing it on to someone else to enjoy for a moment in time."
