Colored Pencil Drawings

Nancy's most recent work in colored pencil has been inspired by her work as a floral designer. Shown here are some of these pieces. She uses pencils with a lower wax content and a smooth paper with very little tooth. During a time-consuming process of layering color on the page, she rubs it into the paper, resulting in images which many have thought to be watercolor.
